It was so refreshing to visit city equally as bustling and full of life as London and Oxford yet the culture and lifestyle there seemed so different, therefore when we were lucky enough to be able to attend Istanbul Fashion Week it was an excellent opportunity to fully indulge in the city through the way that I adore most, fashion. 

As soon as I stepped foot in the lounge before even witnessing a show, the excitement and energy I could feel around me from press, models, bloggers and designers, enthralled me. Being probably one of the few english people in there, the language barrier was always going to issue when trying to communicate with people, yet it was a pleasant surprise when others made the effort to either try and communicate with us or allowed me to take photos of them. It was just amazing to witness the elegance and effortless style that people surrounding me had and I felt the need to soak it all up. Two of the shows that I was privileged to attend were the Ready-to-wear brand Adil Isik, who teamed up with fashion designer Cengiz Abazoglu to create a fresh and vibrant collection, and Studio Kaprol, which is Sponsored by Coca Cola. This collection allowed seven young designers to showcase their work under the mentor by Arzu Kaprol. Reviews on both shows coming soon!
