Despite Karl Lagerfeld having never been to India, after witnessing the spectacular Chanel pre-fall 2012 show you wouldn’t believe it. He states that “It’s much more inspiring not to go to places than to go,” after putting on the show, taking complete inspiration from the sights, smells, and sounds of the the bustling life in India.
The clothes scream luxury. Whether you like or dislike the strong silver embroideries, the gilded laces, and the extremely luxurious silks that embody the show, you can’t deny that Lagerfeld has found a fresh approach to his new collection.
